CES was established in 1990 to service a then fledgling market in the field of Environmental Management and Impact Assessment. The Company has grown significantly since then, due to the increased demand for our high quality environmental and social advisory services across 20 countries in Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

CES has its head office in Grahamstown, with offices in South Africa (Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, East London and Johannesburg), as well as a wholly owned sibsidiary in Maputo, Mozambique (Coastal and Environmental Services LDa., registered as an Environmental Practitioner with the Mozambican authorities).
